We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate ExploreMap, when you direct us to share it, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of assets.

Your Choices

You can choose what travel content to add, edit, import, export, or delete. You can also sign out, stop using connected login providers, and request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account information by contacting us.

Data Retention

We keep account and travel content for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain backups and security logs for a limited period.

For free Scout accounts, if there is no account activity for one year, we may lock the account. During the 90-day grace period after locking, you can sign in to reactivate the account or export your data. If the account is not reactivated before the grace period ends, we may delete the account and saved travel content, including destinations, trips, visits, notes, imports, share links, and uploaded photos. Limited operational records, backups, security logs, and records we must keep for legal or abuse-prevention reasons may be retained for a limited period.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

ExploreMap is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Users

If you use ExploreMap from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last updated. Continued use of ExploreMap after an update means the revised policy applies.
